How Vertical Herizon (HER) collects, uses, and protects information when you visit this site.

Effective Date: August 19, 2026

Who we are

Vertical Herizon (HER) is a boutique growth and performance marketing studio. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit verticalherizon.com, why we collect it, and what choices you have. If you have questions, reach us at her@verticalherizon.com.

Information we collect

Automatically, through analytics

When you visit this site, we use Google Analytics (GA4) and Microsoft Clarity to understand how people use it. These tools may collect your approximate location (derived from your IP address, not GPS), device and browser type, the pages you visit, how long you spend on them, the site that referred you here, and general click and scroll behavior. Microsoft Clarity records anonymized session replays and heatmaps for this purpose. We use cookies and similar technologies to support this - see "Cookies & tracking" below.

Information you provide directly

This site doesn't have a contact form that stores submissions on our servers. If you email us at her@verticalherizon.com or click "Book a consult," you're sending a direct email, and we receive whatever you choose to include - typically your name, email address, and message.

How we use this information

We use it to understand which pages and content resonate, fix what isn't working, measure overall traffic, and respond to inquiries you send us directly. We don't use this data for third-party advertising, and we don't sell it.

Cookies & tracking

Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity set cookies and use local storage to distinguish returning visitors and piece together a session. When you first visit, you'll be asked to accept or decline these non-essential cookies; declining prevents them from loading. You can change your choice at any time using "Cookie Preferences" in the footer.

Third parties who receive data

Analytics data is processed by Google (Google Analytics) and Microsoft (Clarity), each governed by its own privacy policy: Google Privacy Policy and Microsoft Privacy Statement. We don't sell personal information to anyone, and we don't share it beyond these two service providers.

Your privacy rights

If you're a California resident, the CCPA/CPRA gives you the right to know what personal information we've collected, request its deletion, and opt out of "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising (we don't currently do this, but the cookie banner lets you opt out of analytics regardless). If you're in the EU or UK, the GDPR gives you similar rights, including access, correction, deletion, and data portability. To exercise any of these rights, email her@verticalherizon.com and we'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Data retention

Google Analytics retains data according to its default settings (typically 14 months for user-level data) unless we change that setting. Microsoft Clarity retains session recordings and aggregated data per its own retention schedule. We don't independently store analytics data outside these platforms.

Children's privacy

This site is intended for business audiences and isn't directed at children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 (or 16, where applicable).

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our tools or practices change. The effective date above reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected here.
